SWU set to welcome robots

An army of robots will converge on Southern Wesleyan University Saturday, Feb. 18.
Southern Wesleyan’s science department is hosting approximately 200 high school students in robotics teams from school districts across Upstate South Carolina who will compete in the auditorium of Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center on the university’s campus in Central.
Australia women’s conference addresses holiness characteristics

Wesleyan missionary dies accidentally

Global Partners, the missions arm of The Wesleyan Church, said a Wesleyan missionary has died from an accidental death overseas. General Director Dr. H. C. Wilson, announced, “While serving God among the Karis people, Stephen, a GP missionary, passed on to his eternal home as a result of an accident in early February. Due to security issues for his team members, we are unable to honor him by sharing his last name and his picture. Stephen was well aware of security issues and would understand . . .
International Conference launches new Wesleyan region

Under the theme “One Church, Many Nations, One Message,” nearly 150 delegates, spouses, church leaders, associate members, and special guests attended The Wesleyan Church’s International Conference in Panama City, Panama, January 27-29, 2012. Fifty countries were represented.
