For many people Christmas instantly brings to mind lists, parties, relatives, and exhaustion. Instead of being a cultural holiday and celebration of materialism, help your community celebrate Advent and Christmas through the eyes of heaven.
Our desire is to help you share the good news of Jesus this Christmas with the people in your community who have not embraced the gospel and invite them to fellowship with your church family at your Christmas service. These free resources developed by the Spiritual Formation Department of The Wesleyan Church are designed to help pastors and teachers share about this child, Jesus, to everyone, everyday of the year!
Advent is a season of preceding Christmas that helps Christian's focus and prepare for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus. The theme of readings and teachings during Advent is designed to help us prepare for the Second Coming while commemorating the First Coming of Christ.
